FACILITATION AND SPEAKING:
As an organizational leader, conference planner or individual looking for ways to share relevant information with others, I offer various presentations and learning opportunities that will engage and ignite you and your audience.
Below are a few topics I have covered and I can offer custom-tailored learning opportunities to fit your needs!
Leading So People Want to Follow
This workshop explored the different leadership styles being utilized in the workplace today. Each style will be discussed as to its overall effectiveness and uses and will help participants identify their leadership style and how it may be helping or hindering productivity in the workplace.
Not Another Meeting!
In this experience we’ll look at what makes an effective and efficient meeting, a meeting that people won’t mind-and may even enjoy-attending! Topics such as norms, time management, agendas, minutes-etc. are discussed, as well as how to engage participants!
Did I Understand You Correctly?
Effective communication is one of the biggest challenges we face as we navigate the day-to-day business of working and living! Understanding such things as; non-verbal communication, personal space, reflective listening-etc. and applying these techniques can help prevent most, if not all, communication “blips.” This workshop will offer an opportunity to learn and practice techniques that will improve communication with those around you.
Am I Worth It?
Most people, women especially, find it difficult to self-advocate. Assertiveness, even among successful people, is difficult and, oftentimes, they accept less money, less time, less respect than they deserve. This workshop will teach participants how to ask for what they need and want without being aggressive, threatening or “wimpy.” Everyone deserves to know and use the “tolls” of assertive communication so they can meet their needs without feeling guilty. |
